Site Director

Roy Larsen

Roy grew up in Queens, went to High School in Manhattan, worked at 2 different hospitals in Brooklyn and lived for 5 years on Staten Island after being married. NY is in his blood! He went to college and seminary in the Midwest and later served for over 10 years in the Congo in medical and church work. In 1998 he began to serve as the Director for Urban and Intercultural Ministries with the Eastern District of the Evangelical Free Church. And 14 years later, he’s still doing it. He loves working with the pastors and churches that represent many nations and cultures. Roy and Judy have been married for 32 years and have 4 grown children and one grandchild. He loves to go camping, play a slower game of basketball, raise vegetables and read mysteries. And he loves working with Immigrant Hope!
